Chapter 55 was very disappointing because it relied on a big coincidence for him to be able evading being discovered again, at the cost of making her seem stupid AGAIN, and it’s starting to be grating and diminishes the reading experience.

did she conclude that what made her feel debilitated was the boyfriend and not the drugs? How can she know for sure though, if the effects started as soon as the drugs wore off and the nosebleed is too vague a sign to attribute it to anything specific? I’m confused.
