I knew Rael was just being clever and trying to find a way to break free. He didn't fall for Stockholm Syndrome at all~~
SPOILERS:
The next two chapters are the end of Season 1 and then there's an epilogue. In the next chapter, Rix is revealed by Banam that Divine Beasts can influence humans' emotions and that humans can't go against Divine Beasts because the Beasts have power over the humans. So Banam tells Rix that his feelings are just a reflection of Nuah's feelings for Rix. Rix doesn't know how to feel about that, so he tells Nuah to take their separate paths.
In the last episode, it shows Nuah becoming really sad and throws a mini-tantrum and tells Rix he doesn't want to. Rix has a change of heart (because Nuah unconsciously manipulated his feelings or because Rix really changed his mind, that's up to interpretation) therefore, Rix decides that no matter what it is, he can't stop loving Nuah. Thus, comes to terms to his feelings and continues his journey with Nuah in getting rid of his curse (which seems like an excuse to be together at this point, as neither of them want to let go the other person).
Epilogue is coming on March 12th

No they didn't. Banam just got a little intimate and then told Rix, "You're not going against me because it's I'm influencing your emotions. You can't go against a Divine Beast's will." That's all he did really.

Is it just me who thinks Rael is pretending to be a Stockholm Syndrome victim and pulling His Majesty's heart strings? Like everything is so casual, that it doesn't feel like Rael has lost it. It feels like he's in power, not Lion (⊙…⊙ )
There's just something about Rael that doesn't seem vulnerable at all........or maybe I'm just hallucinating lol

At this point, I don't care for the romance. I just wanna see if my sleuth skills are any good, like if I'll be able to predict what will really happen in the end. What will the story look like from here on out, because there's so many theories going on on how this will go that the story has become interesting to me. Not knowing what will happen next makes me anticipate the next chapter, and I'm sure that's why haters are still reading this too. Just to see, how things will go. Can't wait for the next chapter!

There should be a better variety of tags so people know what to expect instead of relying on story summaries and reviews. Stuff like "porn with no plot" or "love interest falls in love first" because I simp for stories where the love interest falls first and would binge all the stories with that tag

I like it so far! The seme is kind of a dick in the beginning but it looks like he is lightening up a bit. Plus Toma is adorable!!!
