He might be working lower rank jobs until he works his way up again but you don’t have to have a stable job all the time if you have other resources you can rely on and it’s not permanent

I don’t think pursuing a passion is a bad thing, sure it may not be stable but I think it it’s something someone is 100% in to and wants to put their effort in and is sure that it isn’t just a temporary thing than is it really that bad? Of course things like being mistaken and it truly not being a passion happens but otherwise I think people should be allowed to do what they find most joy in even it won’t give the most prosperous life
