I havent even read this but judging by the cover and synopsis its crazy that they couldnt even make the slave black because of course if its going to be an interracial couple they both have to be light right?? Im not saying that there wasnt any native american slaves but their population was already dying out and so many of the native groups even fought on the side of the confederacy bcs they themselves owned black slaves lololol it just doesnt make sense
