From what I head there is some dispute between them. I don't know the details but since the author works for them they probably singed a contract which makes them unable to work on it. Perhaps the contract makes them unable to release the details of what's going on.

Yes. Now many authors under Lezhin's name are fighting over the contract. I heard a news from Killa Whale's Twitter that there is one author who had successfully escaped from Lezhin and continued his manga on a new platform. Yet it took him almost a year. So I guess there is a silver lining. All we have to do is to wait and have faith.

I didn't know that much. Thank you for the information, I'm glad that this author is not the only one since this can damage the companies reputation and it will be easier for the authors if they have numbers.

If a project that I placed a lot of passion into was taken away from me I would be so mad.

There's no news from the authors regarding the continuation of this manhwa on another platform, but I'm sure that's what they intend to do as soon as Lezhin's rights over this webtoon expire.

Some people here were saying in previous comments that other Lezhin's authors have a stipulation in their contract that forbids them to continue the unfinished stories on another platform during a period of 3 years!! I don't know where they got the '3 years' info from...

All that I was able to find was this tweet from the author of "What does the fox say?", which confirms the exclusivity period thing, but not the exact time period (see the author's response to Patricia question):

What a comforting reply!! I'm so glad that there are still people who care about this manga. The fact that I don't understand Korean really hinders me from keeping track with the authors...But just like what you said, I think the authors are solving the problem now. All I hope is that the issue won't take too long since I simply can't wait for season three any longer...... What a torment!!

I totally agree with you! I absolutely adore & love this Manhwa, it's one of my favorites! Im keeping strong faith that they'll continue this story after the damn contract finally finishes!

This manhua is very good. I do hope it continues. It is not just brutal but it makes sense to me. It´s psychological, philosophical... One of the good ones.

The main impression, what I remember when I think about this manhua... When it started the guy who worked in the shop, the one who got kidnapped, he kind of doesn´t care... about his own life.. he doesn´t keep any relationships.. It seems like a punishment and memento not for hurting some-one in the past, but for turning empty..
Compared to Killing Stalking- that is a good description of damaged people, why, who what.. Here, I feel it´s more of a parable..
I liked it very much..

I fell into deep depression after reading this manga...All I wanted to see was the love between these two lonely and helpless souls. It is torturing to fall in love with someone with nothing in return. When I see Sungho I see myself as well. I also identify the loneliness that Dohyun had been through. The characters reflect the reality so truthfully and brutally... I guess that is why the story resonates with the readers so well. Sadly I don't know when season three will come back. All I wish is that Dohyun and Sungho can stay together and love each other in time.

That is such a accurate description! You put into words what i could not! Despite all of Dohyun's smiles & casual attitude, he was empty!

Yeah I totally get you. This story embodies the feelings of yearning & longing so powerfully & just overall very relatable feelings. Even if it's unrealistic, I would like to see Sungho & Dohyun mend their relationship somehow & reach a happy end. I don't know when season three will start but I'll still be waiting for it haha! I have really strong faith Killa will continue this since this story contains so much heart & soul!

There are not many yaoi that are good, very few are really original and outstanding and this is the one.. God I hope it continues. It deserves it. Well, fingers crossed..

You´re not the only one.. :) But maybe some people just see it as one of those sexual-abuse yaoi and they wouldn´t touch it for that.. I felt the "emptiness" issue right away (since depressed myself) and I feel that the kidnapper is in the right here.. People generally turn colder and withdrawn with age and bad experience but... the most important thing is relationships and without that what´s it about, right? Just surviving for no reason.
So the kidnapper, no matter how much screwed he is -is the one sensible here, wanting some real emotions.. :)

Oh my god... That is so deep!!! I don't know if I've ever even considered that. I mean I've always personally loved Sungho & could definitley sympathize with why he felt so tormented, but that adds a new perspective! & I could totally see what you mean, since it becomes more apparent through the flashbacks that Dohyun really did want/ like having companionship from Sungho (& then the dog who later died ), & that his way of living wasn't really working for him the way he let on. What a great analysis!

Heh.. I had to look up the names so that I would be able to follow your comment.. I don´t remember much details but I remember that the flashbacks showed a few things that happened to Dohyun which apparently made him withdraw...from wanting things...
I feel/see it..I know these feelings.
What makes the story great is that the author just does not explain it, all this is just happening "behind the scenes" of this warehouse torture chamber.

Doesn't that seem really sick? You should never be in a romantic relationship with someone who's physically and sexually abusive.

I am talking about Sungho in high school... Of course, I don't encourage or tolerate any violence within a relationship. Don't misunderstand my statement.
