I understand the FL’s trauma and why she reacts the way she does, but this chapter really shows the part we cannot keep excusing. She is not just being ‘emotional’ here. She is abandoning her own growth. She is letting her fear and attachment control her instead of protecting her peace.
No Eunhyuk. No Dohwa. Just her.
She is the one choosing to run back to pain, choosing confusion over clarity, choosing silence over communication. Trauma explains her reactions, but it does not make these choices healthy.
At this point, it’s not about who hurt her. It’s about how she refuses to stop hurting herself.
She deserves better than this pattern. She learned so much already, but she keeps throwing it away the moment things get uncomfortable.
We can empathize with her, but we should not romanticize the lack of self-respect. Healing requires accountability, and this chapter shows exactly why she still has a long way to go.
