The ml is a victim of domestic violence and assault. The mc leaving had everything to do with him being a danger to the ml. He had to leave and make distance between them for his safety. We already know the mc has psychological problems. We’ve seen it time and time again in the story. Does no one have critical thinking skills anymore? We’re doomed as a society.
