This is one of the most insane stories i’ve ever heard. The art is incredible. The way everything is amazingly written? Out of this world. I love well written their love story is. I was going to drop it bc I thought Amy was horribly annoying, all that over blushing and for what bro. But they actually expand her character later on instead of just keeping her as a boring love interest. Not only do they expand their little romance, but their friendship as well instead of just pushing them together out of nowhere. I would’ve thought that they would make her revolve around the mc and vise versa, but that’s not the case. They actually show us her personality (and not just boy centered) and how insanely powerful she is (she’s so cool and smart). She was cocky at first, but it’s for a good reason, don’t doubt her.
ALSO This story is NOT just centered around their romance, I just love how they went about it. I’m not a romance fan in these types of stories bc most of the time, it’s HORRIBLY written and rushed.
Not only was their romance well written and expanded on, but the MC’s friendship with other people. I love how they actually go into detail about other characters (AND THEY DONT FORGET ABOUT THEM). MC rejected Amy’s (she’s a year older, which is why she offered) help when learning teleportation, which is lovely as it shows us that he isn’t useless and did all of that because of his OWN determination. They don’t make Any step in EVERYTIME he needs help with something. They actually use the other characters for him to LEARN instead of making him OP from the moment he was introduced.
In the later chapters, when they go in vacation, we get to see their friendships, which is adorable. Obviously, there were serious moments but we get to see how they engage with one another. Instead of only the MC being the powerful one, his friends are also strong as well. Not only that, but the writers also expand on their powers and make them even stronger, they’re all good at something, which the MC doesn’t have or lacks (like swordsmanship and Amy’s power in range fields). It’s worthy to read.
Even with how much I complain about how long the flashbacks were, I absolutely love the passing of this story. Love how the author didn’t half ass the flashbacks and took the time so we can fully understand how things went down (and didn’t skip details so the ML looks a tad bit better) unlike other BL’s. The MC actually stepped down after he got the flashbacks instead of just staying and pushing their relationship, which is refreshing. Hopefully we get to see the ML’s side of how he felt when they separated.
i expected it to be longer than this. the flashbacks in the novel were longer and more detailed.( well for me thas is ) than this manhwa. but i liked how they still did their best to show the flashbacks here like these and not look like it was cut too short...it still showed the important parts... anyways the flashbacks ends here.
Exactly what I meant! Even though i’m the novel it’s obviously more detailed, they still did their best to show as much details as possible. Without extending it too long, boring their readers. It’s lovely how they actually mentioned important things as well as other details unlike other BL’s. Even with how long it dragged on, they ended the flashbacks perfectly.
I’m just gonna share my thoughts from what i’ve read so far. Everything started adding up when in the new chapters it showed their past memories (starting at chapter 73 i’m pretty sure). Mr. Kim or whatever his name is, is in their “past” life as well. If it wasn’t the same one Mr. Kim wouldn’t be there. Plus, everything from their “past” life (their wedding) repeated and they all look the same. The only thing that changed was the ML’s attitude and actions towards the MC because he learned from their “past” life. Everything changed because of the decisions he chose to make.
It makes sense bc it’s a common plot in these types of manwha. Also because of all the suspicious things the ML has said while sleeping (as well as other stuff).
What i’m understanding is that ML got a second chance and came back with his memories while our MC didn’t. Since our MC is now getting all the flashbacks from their “past” life it confirms my theory. Their “past” life did in fact happen, but when the MC shot himself (from the snips that were getting about the gun and why the ML chose to shut it in a case) the ML killed himself as well or something else happened to him, he regressed/was sent back in time to before their wedding happened and he chose to make better decisions and change his attitude towards the MC (I know i’m repeating my words but yeah). Basically, they’re living their first life again but MC is having a better time bc the ML isn’t being a dick this time.
I’m putting past in quotation marks bc it’s not really their past life since ML got a second chance to make everything right, but at the same time it is bc ML is the only one with the memories from their first life together.

Honestly, the wrap up felt flat and boring. The build was fine, but they ruined it again just to “build” it up again. I’m glad they’re finally together, but 101 (of which 90% is Dan js going through it) chapters for a flat wrap up is lowkey crazy.
Jeakyung finally getting on his knees was a tiny bit worth it, but honestly the bare minimum after what he put Dan through, LMAOO.
While Jeakyung had many “redemptions” later on, they kept ruining him BADLY for more angst and what not, so I think that’s why it’s feeling flat. Hopefully we have side stories later on for fluff, I’d love to see him treat Dan LEAGUES better after doing all that to him, lolol.
Also, I think the main reason as to why others are bummed about what is basically the ending is bc of how much ppl gassed this up due to the authors other work, BJ Alex. Tbh, this is an alright read compared to BJ.
(Also, did anyone notice the parallels between this and Sadistic Beauty? Especially when Jeakyung was on his knees looking up at Dan while crying)
