Please don't tell me am I the only one who notice this. The first couple already has a long-standing relationship of 19 years shouldn't you be focusing on developing the relationship of the new couple right now? The author doesn't shy away from showing preferential treatment to the first couple, especially the screen time and the intimate moments. I have gone through many love triangles, and, as I said before, TJ possesses everything that an endgame has in general. The fact that he has ''19 FREAKING YEARS'' of history and familiarity with the MC - it's not something that you can easily underestimate. It's like the author purposely power-ups him with the aspects of a strong rival that isn't easy to win against. He only needs a redemption arc to secure his position as the endgame. Why a redemption arc? He's not a bad dude but he is toxic and obsessive. He has done some pretty messed up things to the MC and his mind-controlling game is no joke. Jo doesn't stand much of a chance from the beginning despite him doing everything from his side or should I say the author not giving him any potential to explore his relationship with Ian. I can be wrong too since the author seems to be very different from the others but based on everything right now TJ has an upper hand. Not a fan of anyone in this manhwa but I feel sorry for Jo/Joseph. Dude has no win even for a second.
Going against someone who has familiarity and a history of 19 years with the MC is NO JOKE and not mentioned a codependency relationship. TJ possesses everything that usually an endgame has in general. What you gonna do Jo?
