The chemistry with Romi just hits different. Everything with dohyun looked like she was falling for him bcuz of all the trauma and loneliness she latched onto the only person she knew wouldn’t abandon her like mom and romi whereas with romi she has genuine curiosity and feelings of comfort without seeking for it
My updated prediction is he’ll panic once gaon silently moves away -> flashbacks to his mom -> abandoment issues turn x10000 -> realises doyoung is the only person in his life that basically worships him enough to never leave him -> yandere kihyun. Not sure where the timeskip would be in that tho ╮(￣▽￣)╭ You can subtly tell he’s starting to care for her instead of using her just from body language, he looked bored fiddling with his fingers when she asked about him and gaon but immediately sat up focused when asking if she was feeling okay but this is just me overanalysing like crazy lol

I get this feeling that all these things like doyoung telling gaons secrets to kihyun, and keeping the peeping pics of her will build up for gaon once she finds out. she’ll have distrust and break their friendship which would be the breaking point for doyoung to let go of her feelings for kihyun since gaon was her important first friend
