I get what you mean but if it means anything the plot turns around right after this in the novel
you realise that it was the first real war for Tessia and most of all in a leading role not just as simple soldier...plus Arthur was fighting more then 2 mana beasts all boss level or mid boss level mana beast not 1 v 1 he was in the middle of the hord so how can that be so easy as you say...like you've been at war and is simple...just to ruin your hate...Tessia doesn't die...they win the war...and in the end Arthur and Tessia get married
