I took it as him being conflicted and still wanting what he believes he can’t have. He probably is realizing he does still love Joo and them having such a passionate night is swaying him along with the realization that the deadline is soon. Maybe he feels he won’t be able to have moments like that with him and he might be thinking Joo was influenced by drinking. It’s 10000000% such a yearning hug for me it had me shook fr.

I think its the later. Since JK hasn't openly expressed his love yet...Dan is still in doubt maybe and doesn't wanna develop feelings to get hurt later. I think after granny dies and Dan might try to iff himself, then i think JK will loose his shit and confess too. Or JK might confess after his upcoming match when the contact is over.

Hehehe. The death might FINALLY give his courage the booast it needs. Like come on mannnn hurry up!! Lolll also there was this chapter where JK had a dream where Dan is commiting s****e and he stops him again... and that's when he wakes up...

Dan’s entire reason for holding on feels tied to his grandmother. As far as he knows she’s the only person he has in this world. He doesn’t realize yet that JK is family too so in his mind Granny is his last anchor. If she were to pass away while he’s still in such a fragile mental state then I can’t help but think he might feel completely alone like there’s nothing and no one left for him. And in that kind of darkness it’s easy to imagine him questioning the point of continuing to live. At the same time everything would depend on where Dan and JK’s relationship stands at that moment as well. If their bond has deepened enough maybe JK could become that new anchor for him. But if Dan is still struggling severely with depression(because it can come back severely) we’ve already seen how dangerous that can be. His sleepwalking episodes aren’t just symbolic instead they put his life at real risk. There were moments in the past where if JK hadn’t arrived in time Dan might not have survived. Even at JK’s housebwhen Dan was sleepwalking and nearly fell onto the dining table JK was the one who stopped him. That’s why I feel the timing and emotional development between them will be crucial. The story has been shifting lately and I’m really hoping the upcoming chapters move toward something more healing and hopeful for Dan.
