Say, you regressed to how many years prior. And this is your chance to enter a certain competition that you never got the change to join before regression. Backed with talent, skills, and knowledge from the future, you won the competition which opened to so much opportunities for you. Then you realized that the person who won 2nd place was the winner in the past, the opportunities given to you was originally hers/his, and this person became very successful bcs of this competition. What would you feel?
I would feel happy
So... My committee in my univ org rn are out dining together, of course I was invited but I did not go because we still have some materials to finish. I noticed that they all have that "I have to finish my work so that I can attend the dinner later" mindset. But my procrastinator introvert mindset is "Imma read manhwa rn and do this later, I'd have an excuse not to attend the dinner,". My org mates even went partying last night but I also did not attend, cuz I was too busy lying on my bed reading.
Ugh. I hate my mindset but it's really hard for me to abandon it!! I'm a univ student! It's detrimental for me to socialize in order to form connections. I know that! But I can't change! I even tried to get out of my comfort zone by joining an organization but I still can't fit in. They are extroverts with good social skills... I'm too fvcking jealous.
Anywayy, I just hate myself.
Omg hon, it's sometimes fine to choose yourself - partying doesn't always square to fun and fitting in won't matter later on
