Right now, Riftan is a version of her father who doesn't physically abuse her, but continues to belittle her and deprive her of her freedom. Can this be considered love? I believe so... but it's a love that's more about him than about her. Riftan gives me the Bear vibe from Obsession. He loves a projection... it's never about her, but it's always all about him. That's frustrating. Despite the long text, I hope Riftan matures and realizes that his obsessive and controlling love is harmful.
