Why is everyone hating on ml though?

It's different from what I had read. What I understood, it was supposed to be an extension of the 1st timeline. Kloff is supposed to be the widower old man with grown up children. Aeroc in that lifetime was the only one who got reborn and met Kloff as a young man.

He was with me the whole time. We had popcorn and watched Disney Movies.

One of the kids had already d!ed before MC saved the rest but would've been better if it wasn’t so dark. Showing a cut off hand of a child and all. Real life is traumatic enough, I don't need my BL to be dark too. It's my only way of getting rid of the mental stress.
