Honestly, while I get the use of a chopped up timeline from different POVs, I think the translation is a little too rough to properly introduce and to piece together info.
So for everyone who doesn’t understand:
Mom was a famous model (dunno what Dad’s job is) and Uncle is doctor.
They employ a housekeeper to help around the house when the kids were young. Housekeeper has a son who was an obsessive fan of Mom. Housekeeper’s son convinced housekeeper to kidnap MC for ransom money. Housekeeper agreed and one day in spring (hence the cherry blossom imagery) when her brothers didn’t want to play with her, MC left the house alone and housekeeper kidnapped her. Housekeeper’s son (guy with the crazy look asking young MC if he reminds MC of her mom) doesn’t actually ask the family for ransom money. Instead housekeeper’s son wants to raise MC himself (basically kidnap ur idol’s daughter to raise ur own idol 2.0). The MC was kidnapped for months, yes months (bc by the time she remembered being injured the cicadas were chirping signaling summer). During those months, housekeeper’s son basically forced MC to believe her mom was bad and abandoned her with them (and by the looks of it he probably also abused MC). During the end of those few months, the housekeeper was worried about money and realized her son had no intention of reaching out for ransom money and just wanted his own “toy”. So housekeeper decides to unalive MC, because doing so meant that her son couldn’t obsess over MC anymore and she could still ask for ransom money. (I’m assuming housekeeper tried to kill MC) but anyways, MC gets heavily injured to the point where she’s basically not breathing. Only then her dad and uncle find her and take her to the hospital. However, she doesn’t remember anything when she wakes up in her “dazed” state, but when she sees her mom she gets flashes of images of abuse and almost dying (probably due to the trauma of how the housekeeper’s son tried to force her to believe her mom is bad). So mom now keeps her distance to ensure that MC doesn’t have to live with the trauma of those few months.
