Whenever I read a story, I always try my best to put myself in their shoes, be them.
So up until now, I can still feel the deep pain and hardships dan went through, including losing the only family you have. I resonate with dan more but I am actually surprised to also feel the same towards jaekyung.
He also went through a lot during childhood and never had constant good parenting around. However, I won't excuse his wrongdoings. It is utterly horrifying to do those and to experience it.
But if you try to read their conversation in real time as if you were there or you were in their position with their personalities, etc., Change is not something you can just sleep away. Im proud of them so much.

P.S. If had either of their lives and still have the personality i have right now, I would definitely either be gone or start my revenge arc.
The last chap does feel rushed since I wanted to feel the gradual fresh start of their characters and relationship. I wish to see some sort of flashbacks to be fulfilled by special/extra chaps.

I wanna directly hear the words i love you from joo's mouth.
But there's also a thought that joo didnt say it yet cause he's more focused on saying sorry and feeling guilty and the pain of losing dan.
Or maybe im just delusional????
Im also curious as to how exactly joo makes up for his mistakes in the upcoming chapters.
