I am. So confused. I don't dislike Erez by any means, but it felt like the romance came absolutely out of nowhere? Like it was obvious he liked her, but I sensed absolutely nothing reciprocated back besides friendship. I actually thought this webtoon might end without her romantically involved with anyone, just focusing on her role and dad and having friends. The Erez thing really blindsided me. I feel really bad for the guard, who told her he'd be waiting for her there, just for her to return with another man, but it's not really like I thought he was the better ML necessarily since his storyline was also underdeveloped, I was just baffled by the sudden romance with Erez. Weird. Loved the webtoon up until that, though, and the overall plot was interesting.
I always shipped Erez but I have to agree with that. The author was definitely having the princess give Erez the side character role until recently. Maybe they changed their mind because they made him so darn charming lol
It really starts off as the "A suspenseful school romantic comedy" but, as painfully as peeling back a layer of skin, becomes "a picture of hell". If you're looking for the classic cute, fun, funny kind of teenage romcom, this is NOT IT. The later chapters are definitely more of a psychological horror/thriller. I'm very intrigued to see where this goes and what turns out to be the real past.
