It's a way of thought I had, like sometimes I wish geonmu should love his worth and dignity than downregard himself for taeoh like the way he gives up his pride and everything for love and protection but somehow I don't see taeoh in that sense, like I mean he is helping him for sure, also maybe that's the way taeoh's so called love is like but at same time kept me wondering, does that pal even love him at the first place to begin with, which is so unsure, I mean it's all sex not romantic attraction at all.

To be honest I don’t even think Gogyeom loves Baekhee…at least in the traditional sense. Gogyeom is manipulative and selfish. He loves the fact that Baekhee needs him. He loves that Baekhee is traumatised and lonely and he can occupy a saviour position in his life. Baekhee is ostracised and vilified for having a father who is murder but he maintains a semblance of normalcy within the “friend” group because of Gogyeom (who is the leader of the group). Gogyeom uses that superiority and “protection” to control and coerce Baekhee into relying only on him and having sex with him. You can see how fixated he is on taking Baekhee to Seoul. Because once they’re in Seoul together, Baekhee will be safe from his dad yes but practically isolated from everyone. He will only have Gogyeom to rely on entirely. And Gogyeom can do whatever he wants, whether it be the threatening to rat him out to his dad if he thinks of “escaping” or basically abusing him if he wants. He has basically been hammering into Baekhee’s head that he can do NOTHING without him. He is obsessive over being the only person that Baekhee can count on. He is leveraging Baekhee’s gayness and attraction to him to create a relationship that warrants a “deeper” connection so that Baekhee genuinely feels closer to him (being a “boyfriend” vs “friend”). If Baekhee wasn’t so traumatised, lonely and perpetually scared, (and gay) Gogyeom’s interest in him would probably have never gone past wanting to just hang out with like a friend.

I feel there is still much to reveal about his character since and really make a conclusive judgement of his character at this point may be too soon but I also don’t see him “getting better”. I think he is written to be a foil to Ilwoo (in regards to both their relationship to Baekhee) and the worse he treats Baekhee, the further he might push him towards Ilwoo because Ilwoo is genuinely caring and empathetic. Let’s see how the story plays out! He might have a surprising character arc.

It is so obvious to come in terms with how seungju is total playboy and I guess he swings both ways as he had women around him though, so to come with terms with his personality, it is very questionable and feeling out so odd signs somehow he is just using taeho as his sex toy like, I do hope seungju changes for himself for better, at least for taeho if possible like knowing his situation and background he is from, but I can't kid myself to believe that fact he seem to betray taeho at one point I think, I don't know if it happens or not but he doesn't give off good vibes at all, for him the sex is momentary pleasure but I do stand wronged for it, cause it is good if he has genuine feelings for taeho later on, like slowly lingered romantic feelings likewise.
