He will not, it was the MC who will begged him. Till the end he lived up as a villain. I just couldn’t understand how the MC just forgave and brushed it all off.

The ML is a psycho obsessed with him, and even after he run off he became even more violent.

So no redemption?(⊙…⊙ )

I’m just reading the webtoon for GW’s face. It is the first time the artist has been on point with the novel character’s description. He is the epitome of beautifully handsome yet cold.

True! GW plans on marrying anyways and he is also catching feelings towards the ML so yeah. The In laws are treating him well. He lives in the mansion and he gets to request anything to the ML. He’s living the dream of any sugar babies there is!

But it still sounds sad . I wish first time in my lifetime they change the manhwa and make ml regret his actions.

And sadly i am reading alot of these kind of manhwa for redemption or chasing arc and i can see alot of them are not getting any redeeming quality. .. So i just don't know atp does all those authors have Stockholm syndrome or do they think we do (⊙…⊙ )

I understand what you mean but this manhwa is literally meant to be a villain story. His not supposed to turn good. But to be honest. For a villain his good comparing to
A lot of other characters that need redemption. And I don’t mind their chemistry together. It’s not like at the end the MC is sad or unhappy with him

I dropped atone hahaha that dude no longer needs redeeming arc!!! I can give benefit of a doubt to Dominic Miller in Eat me up if you can because Ashley deserves what he got after making the man fall for him only to deceived him but the ML in the Atone doesn’t even deserve any benefits of a doubt.

I don't read novels so I don't know about this. But i am still hoping for redemption arc.. Or a murder maybe.. Or suicide.. Something.. But again maybe I am asking too much from just a smut..

In the novel Eat Me Up if You Can they both died. Ashley (AKA Juliet) died of natural death while Dominic died by self exiting shortly after Juliet died. He burned the whole mansion. He couldn’t live without his Juliet so yeah. I had mixed emotions still in that novel.

I mean Juliet brought it upon himself so in that part I don’t really feel pity but I applaud him because till the end he didn’t gave his heart to Dominic. Dominic still clings to him though. Married him, break his ankles so he couldn’t walk and break his resolve to even self exit. That’s why Juliet died of natural death and after he died that’s when Dominic followed. Like the man can’t live without him so even in death he just won’t let Juliet escape.

Well I think that’s the only Dark novel I find bittersweet and kind of accepting the ending as what it is not matter how eff up is that.

Wow... So novel authors are still sane. Thankgod. It seems much realistic than Stockholm syndrome. But i am also not feeling anything good for dominic.

Yeah I read the webtoon but not the Novel. It was kind of ok. It will pass as a good read to be honest. I’m currently reading a webtoon now. The art is not much but the story is superb!!!!

In cozy obsession, i really liked the plot twist. And in original storyline they both died and when mc transmigrates into the story and later redemption arc starts. So it was something new. And i think they dragged the story too long later on. Otherwise first season was so good

You can try Palace of Bardot, it sort of has the same plot as Cozy obsession and the redeeming arc is very satisfying but the set up is like historical.


The ML got obsessed with the MC and the MC who no longer can take it self-exit. So years passed and they both got reincarnated.

MC had all his memories intact but the ML doesn’t have his memories of the past life. However the ML is somehow going to the path they once walked to so the MC asked to be killed instead than experiencing things all over again. Don’t worry the second time line is really satisfying. No abuse and all. You’ll love the ML in the second life.

It is like Beyond the memories another great recommendation.

I thought so too at first but it has a lot of twists. The ML has a lot of deep rooted flaws. He may appear perfect but he is not. He has been wanting to self-exit for years if it weren’t for his friend. Well the last attempt the friend was like don’t you want to exit in the world proving yourself worth it to your father. So the ML worked really hard to prove himself not just to his father but to everyone. Then when it was time for him to go he met the MC. Got curious because he entertains him then eventually fell for him. Something like that.


I can also recommend “Die in my arms” Dang you’ll be able to say “the only black flag you’ll accept in the story!” The MC is black flag but in a very good way. How can Minyoung be sexy, pretty, cool and scary at the same time? Dang!

Bro i read palace of bardot. Damn it was so good. Not unnecessary smut. Not romanticising rape. And till the end ml was aware what he did and just being nice now won't erase the past. It was good.

I tried reading "die in my arms" before but then i couldn't wait so i left it to marinate. But if it has reached the point to say it is this good then i think it's time to read.
