I totally agree with you. When you get assaulted your body doesn't know how to respond, so you get scared. Your strength gets weak and you can't think straight. You can't move from fear and your mind gets blank. Tom didn't ask for it and couldn't "just walk away". You can't ignore or walk away from the situation because it was a rape!
