ML knew MC from his birth. Thought about him since MC was a child. I know what grooming is when I see it . Don’t make excuses for author’s ignorance

LOL wut?! If you had reading comprehension you'll read tht the ML knew MC had visions but only saw MC as a BROTHER for years until the MC was older and started dating and suddenly he felt jealous, and he had to work through why.

Grooming is when you take a child, give them love and gifts and tell them it's okay to touch their no no square since it's a special relationship between just them. Which the ML never ever did, he cared about MC as a brother growing up and is 10 years older. So once the ML was older he started to realize what he felt was a connection to MC, they were souls who were connected.

I'm not making excuses at all, I just know how to fucking read.

The author tried really hard to make this story look okay, but it is very problematic because it's not okay to start dating a person who you knew since birth and with whom you have a 10 years ago gap. Again, read what you want to read but stories like this is creepy.

I dated someone who was 19 years older than me. Soo yeah an adult can make their own choices, and no grooming happened. Just say you're uncomfortable with age gaps that's fine, but calling something grooming when it's not isn't going to suddenly make you right.

Move on from the story and enjoy reading something else.

Bruh. If you're uncomfortable both age gaps then be uncomfortable but use grooming in the right context. Grooming is not just knowing the child, it's lusting for the child, manipulating/training the child to like the person, and waiting to get them at the right age. Hence, the word grooming was coined. There is an intention from the get go to have a sexual and romantic relationship.

Jaekyung is an irredeemable character, but I’m still curious how all of this will get written to the end. This author surprised me with BJ Alex so I’ll give my verdict at the end.

To me any story where the male lead repeatedly SA the main character is bad writing coz you can easily create an asshole without making him commit literal crimes
But this is next level

Ig It worked in BJ Alex couse from the beginning we had an insight of where all these bad traits come from ... But in this case ? We don't know shit about jk's past or what caused his jinx...

You literally read Roses and Champagne where Caesar is a psychopath who shot his bottom, kidnapped him and raped him straight up for days yet you still think Jaekyung is irredeemable? Interesting.

Woah there, there’s clearly a level to it where some don’t understand how deep and worse it goes with genres like these. Don’t worry, I’ve read dark fall and even missing love which is far worse than roses and champagne so I understand whatchu mean. I’m just saying “irredeemable” for the newbies, who think jaekyung is the worst character out there which is funny to me. However, even if characters like Caesar are worse, doesn’t make jaekyung’s actions less wrong. These are male leads (no matter the degree or details of being a red flad) are still in the wrong. But hey, I’m here for the character development always.
