From the start. My expectations just increased chapter by chapter, but the climax in elf kingdom was not rushed, it was terribly rushed. It kinda let down everything for me...
This had tremendous potential. The Ending for those bitçh nobles was too unsatisfying.
Tbh, almost every chapter only have one pages only. So I don't even know if you can call it rush since near the end of it, although it's very short, it's seems like perfect for a manga that only consist one page for every chapter
That one page consisted more information than it did in the last few chapters combined
Agreed about the climax. I can't not expect it ended without romance but the build up during elf kingdom part just meh it feels like deus ex machina just so they can have child despite earlier flag that she can't conceived anymore.
Btw, sorry for late reply, I try to find serialized version here since other site I use kinda broken but only find this ver. Hope mangaka fix that arc story+pace
It ain't even looking like a side story but new arc with new Leviathan species and new mysteries to be solved. It's like a new season
