Give it a heart and a pretty high rating on the official Line Webtoon. ORV categorized as Action on that site. An obvious contrast to the usually visited genres there, like, romance or comedy. Do it to motivate the goats that are working on this series and also the best duo SingShong that wrote ORV.
As novel readers we all know the HUGE potential of this series, so many great scenes and the fact that orv gonna last for a decade adds up to the pent up excitement I GET IT but you gotta be considerate of others at least. They also deserve to experience this greatness the best way possible- that is to NOT get unwanted spoilers from someone that didnt mean to do it and was only acting all over excited of what's to come!
Pls be mindful, even the subtle spoilery comments can also greatly affect others' reading experience in a negative way. If they are obviously webtoon onlys how bout not replying w a spoiler? Pls put proper tags at any future characters/events youre going to mention or even your replies to a spoilery thread, if needed. Orv is full of plot twists and crazy reveals, it's best to keep it to ourselves for now.
I wont gatekeep everyone too hard cos I also read illegally but pls go to Line Webtoon and give the official Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint webtoon a positive review and all the chapters a heart. You dont need to pay, doing that is completely FREE. It will greatly help us international readers in the long run as well. ORV is extremely popular in korea already so there's no need to worry about them there, but they need to know that WE also want this series.
Like I said this series is already well loved in korea so ORV is already planned to have its own animation and movies adaptations. The future is very bright for this series and I'm happy that it is getting so much love there. Us, international fans just need to make our presence known and push ORV novel and webtoon to more international readers as much as possible. By doing that we'll see those future projects related to this series fast and easily accessible. So everyone happy!

You do that everyday? I may try this if I want to read other novels for free. After orv I dont really read there that much. When I read orv there I literally bought a bundle for 10 usd or smth and got it over w. Then, a friend sent me a pdf version so I read that.
I feel like right now for us intl readers, it's much more important to support the webtoon version. We'll get the anime faster that way as well cos naver do animations now.

I recommend reading "The World After the Fall" by SingShong - same authors as ORV. It's their earlier novel. It is kind of awkward the first few chapters... Actually it's a bit awkward sometimes later too, but the story is pretty interesting. The MC is kinda like a mix between KDJ and YJH, and a lot of themes in the novel are later used in ORV. It's so interesting to so how far the writing improved comparing the two works... And the novel is shorter, only 247 chapters, chapter length being shorter than ORV too, so it's a fast read.
Fr it isnt that hard. Whenever a new chapter is released I go there and like it even tho I dont read it bc the translation is behind.

Cos ironically it was alot easier to read illegally. Not everyone check out the Line Webtoon, some even wont try to read there even tho it's free cos 1. the release is way behind there, 2. They need to pay in app coins to read more and 3. most readers go to aggregator sites like this that offer multiple stories in one. Sites should link official sites like mangadex.
I commend Shugen's unwavering resolve but Fuchi deserve to live more and he took that away from him. Fuchi only said to prioritize what's important for now ffs why do that? The reinforcement Asaemons deserve no good things in life. They judge others as 'villains' unfairly. Even question their Asaemon comrades when their decisions didnt align. When the said criminals they judged guilty are those far more humane than them, you know these Asaemons are fucked up in the head. They are too apathetic it makes me sick.
What is he so smug for? Yeah, he ruled once but he was the past. Claude's family is the one that took over. Athy gonna be the one governing even if he made such a grand entrance now. What is his goals? To strengthen his faction? To take the role of a sub? BUT! FYI! Him and his daughter are now (only) just the 'relative' of the Emperor. Nothing more, unless they straight up kill the two (Claude and Athy) then, sure, but that aint gonna happen (for obvious reasons).

i mentioned this in another comment, but I think they'll push Jeanette as the rightful heir. In real life, the children of deposed kings were still threats to the reigning royal family because of the factions that supported them. It's possible that some nobles will support Jeanette, while others will support Athy. We can't discount the fact that Jeanette uses black magic to get people to like her either.

I think Jeanette is older since Penelope (her mom) was pregnant when she witnessed Claude "killing" his brother. Then, he lived in "debauchery" until he met Diana. Also, you're right, they might introduce Jeanette as Claude's other daughter. Either way, she could be considered the rightful heir since she's older. I'm hoping that's not the case, but what else could explain Anastacius exposing himself like this.

It’s not that the novel wasn’t translated right but they changed the plot completely from the novel for the manhwa. The things happening in the latest chapters never happened. This meeting etc. so from here on it’s going to be an interesting ride. In the novel, Jeanette does try to come out as claude’s daughter, she tells him that but he knows she isn’t so I think the key point here would be Claude waking up. But then again this dude never came in opening in the novel so idk but it’s more public fight now.
I read ahead a few chapters of the novel as well but I dont like MTL so I just dropped it for now until there's a passable korean trans. Generally, I dont mind the change now that they completely deviate to the source but sometimes, it kinda feels like theyre dragging the webtoon too much... If I remember correctly, originally Amnesia! Claude got resolved pretty quickly.
