The king pisses me off. He just does. Also the queen is also not a good person for doing those things to Edward. Both of the king and queen just targetting and blaming the children instead of each other.
I really do like the story and the pair as a couple but, the mc parents just pissed me off so bad. First, the mother, i thought she hated mc because he was just some random or an affair child (still does not justify her actions even then). But nooo, mc was actually an abandoned child, a child they casted away because he was born weak. F u so much. The nerve of her to make mc so miserable in life. Her ending/consequences does not give me satisfaction at all.
Then, the father. Just because at the end he gave money/funds for the mc, as if he cares for him, does not make him a better person at all. You still abandoned him and then abused him so much. He didn't even get any punishment at the end??
The story is okay to read. There are some plot holes, but manageable. I do like that Dian (mistress?) did not continue to hope for the emperor's love till the end. Because at the end, the one with the most fault and had wronged many people is the emperor himself. The emperor is the cause for all of it. Of course, the uncle too is at fault for manipulating him, but the emperor truly did not grow up and had continued to stay in the past instead of living in the present.
Honestly, I can understand WHY the emperor did all of that. The uncle had planted these ideas ever since he was young , naive, and fragile. The uncle was his whole world (his savior, his family, his friend), and he lived trapped in it. However, that still doesn’t justify the emperor’s actions, but it’s like, I still feel 0.2 cm of sympathy for him.
I.. don't like the special chapter. I hate that vampire guy (forgot the name) that keep trying to harm, threat Siyun and just got a light punishment for it.
They have issues, but at the end of it, they try to improve themselves. Both of the couples are so cute
I want to read it since I saw a post saying it will get an anime? And it's a good manga. But, reading the comments is making me think twice. Is the prince from her first life really the ML??
Both of them are unhinged and they suit each other so well. I want more of them. Why is there no side story :(
