Let me explain as someone who did actually read both stories till now. Nope you can't compare taeju's character development to to jakeyung( he doesn't have any till now.) .come on.#－.－) That story follows it's trajectory whereas here we have underwhelming aspects. Both are typical but on that in we know what we're getting into but here we keep getting suspense built upto nothing. The character of taeju is well written, his emotions stayed consistent throughout storyline. Whereas I've just seen jaekyung repeating the same line -" why do I feel my heart beating for doc dan, is it indigestion or am I crazy" ( nope I'm not in love with a 2d character and neither do I hate a 2-d characters irl lol) There are more detailed characters in the other one here we have focus 2 mains only and we're at chap 72 still learning about them. That other one had more thrill, angst. And the MC is also so different. Idk what other fans you're talking about but I'm happy to elaborate more lol. And yeah I do get some people make arguments like you said but I just ignore them, most also don't mean it seriously when they say they hate jaekyung, more like a joke they are just experiencing emotions so it's a good thing a story can generate it no? But I get what you meant tho, hope this helped . Also I don't hate either stories lol. We can have different opinions. Hope I wasn't rude somewhere here girl .

And everyone’s hating on it saying it’s a form of trying to use guilt to say what he did was an excuse but when taeju had his character development everyone forgot abt everything he did with no complaint but with jinx everyone wants to be different.

I’ve also actually read both stories and yes you can compare the too.Just because jaekyung is late to his character development doesn’t mean anything the author probably wanted to drag the angst for a little longer.Jinx and low tide in twilight also have the same trajectory as one person is broke or in debt and going thru depression episodes and one is found by someone and used as same as jinx and more but I will say low tide in twilight is a little more complicated but that doesn’t mean anything.Taeju’s emotions were not as consistent as you say and were quite literally all over the place and compared to jaekyung he’s just arrogant and has a hard time understanding his feelings which is quite like when taeju was all over the place trying to decide wheather to stay by his partners side.I will agree that low tide in twilight has better detailed characters but that has nothing to do with what I’m arguing abt.And if one story had more thrill and angst I guess that remakes it more okay to make horrible decisions? also yes people do actually mean it when they say they hate him you can clearly tell the hate this story and the characters is genuine bc that’s all I see in these comments is hatred but fully agree it’s hipocrisy just because readers tend to pick and choose what stories are acceptable or not when both stories are equally as bad as in the characters before development it’s no different and it’s just the fact ppl get heated when ppl say they like jinx but literally read the same concept in a different form and be happy with it just bc of the characters development and tragedies that jinx can’t even do with jaekyung without ppl claiming it to be trying to get them to forgive him with guilt.But anyways I see where your coming from but I stand by what I think and I liked how you described ur opinion but I still disagree but no negative feelings towards you and I also don’t hate either story.

And again I just compared in full detail how they are not similar so maybe read that? I agree 100%, that story had it's flaws too. This one too. I don't even compare stories , I just tried to answer the question that is IF that might be helpful. We've seen the other story but this one, the development didn't even start when there were multiple plotline openings, idk why people are hating JK but again they don't mean in literal sense probably.
