He did exactly what he said in the chapter where he saved Aeroc from being mugged, “If this is a new world, then I’ll start over.”
He did everything that he could do to get closer to Aeroc but he didn’t ruin him like in the first timeline. He simply wanted to attach himself to Aeroc’s world.
He skillfully acquainted himself with the people around Aeroc so that when he eventually faces financial problems (Aeroc is ill-equipped to manage his own estate. All he has in that brain of his is appreciation for the arts and spending lavishly), he’ll have no choice but to ask for Klopp’s help.
And through those meetings, he doesn’t ask to be paid with money. He asks for Aeroc’s time and body. Basically, he’s the one proposing an Alpha x Alpha relationship as it is “trendy” nowadays (refer to what Aeroc proposed to Klopp in the first timeline). Klopp is out to get his hands on Aeroc, but now he is the one struggling with wooing him.
Well.. that's not as bad as what others were making it out to be but I can see why it's kinda problematic and why people still hate Klopp for it
Keep in mind, in this new timeline he is still the old, insane and decrepit Klopp of the 1st timeline. Him losing Aeroc drove him to the point of insanity. So he's bound to be unhinged in some parts of this story. Case in point: his violent first meeting with Aeroc.
So yeah, this timeline is pretty angsty but definitely not as dark as the 1st timeline.
At least we all get to enjoy Aeroc scenes of pushing this man away. He hates Klopp's guts here (contrary to the love at first sight 1st timeline Aeroc)
Great wise one, may you spoil if they actually end up together in this timeline? I'm banking on Aeroc dumping his crazy ass but I'm not optimistic.
Yes, they still do end up together. Them being mates is no joke. They are bound together in every timeline
