I would love for yall to have a traumatic past like Astina and get over it within what? Less than a year? Two years? Why is it that no grace is being given to her at all? I’ve seen this so often with complicated and REAL FL where the ML is coddled just because he’s a “green flag” while the FL is shat on. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but it’s giving misogyny/internalized misogyny. BOTH have flaws and it’s unfair imo for the ML to expect her to be able to get over the past, sort out her feelings, AND return his love for her (which I believe she does love him but is terrified of repeating the past because TRAUMA). I feel for Astina deeply
Reverse their sexes or positions they are in and all would love tina instead of hating her for the prettiest of the reasons. It is just plain misogyny
The ml is green flag but you can't expect to be loved just because you are a green Flag, it just doesn't work that way. people most of the times are flawed and expecting them to redeem overnight isn't possible.
I believe both are making progress and would reach on the same page at one point, but hating the fl just bc she doesn't at the moment love him (she likes him i believe) isn't nice. As I said before readers need to imagine a scenario where situation is reversed would you hate theo in that scenario? Or Would you expect him to grow as a character so they would have a long healthy relationship?

yeah at least these two are talking things out and being honest with each other. this is like maturity. You can't force someone to feel a certain way if they don't. I just wish he wold come to a point where he accepts that he's going to have a one sided love. Even if she doesn't love him, she is at least open to him and honest. And it's not like she wants to leave him for another man... nor will she since the one she loves so passionately is dead. She's like cheat-proof lol
IT TRULY IS UNFAIR FOR HER!!! He cant force her to have feelings, crying and rubbing it in her face isnt very green flag of him like the people who claim he is and "she ruined a green flag".
