The storyline is getting interesting. I was rooting for the psychic but now Mr. SSR intrigues me.
MC has been so capable and genre-savvy with avoiding flags till now that a slip-up like this shouldn't really work but it DOES and that is so satisfying.
And I know that him slipping up was executed perfectly because I, a reader, did Not understand the flag he was potentially raising and the risk he was taking. His blindspot of "regardless of what I do SSR won't fall for me" was one I shared. I did not realise SSR/MC was now an option till I saw the other comments.
The story is getting to be so awesome.

This is so sad the concept is fairly interesting but I just can't enjoy this story after chapter 0
I appreciate the free translations, genuinely, but it is admittedly not the best quality. The art is completely different after chapter 0, and I don'tquite understand what is happening in the story, especially with that abrupt end.

Eh, the filler chapters aren't much of a bother. Helps build, like, the atmosphere or something. Lets the story breathe.
With these characters and this particular story, it wouldn't feel right for the smut to start so early anyway. There's other stories for that.
Right now the main characters don't even appear to care about each other. Like, hate you can work with, but apathy is the opposite of chemistry and that's lowkey what I'm getting from these two.
