I thought twitter was a cesspool with the racist esp from LAAM and Russia accounts but y’all having your own klan meeting here as well. And this just proves that y’all wanna enjoy racist stuff, it wasn’t about “artistic expression” which never is when comes to racism. Also the whole “it’s just fiction” is such a lazy cop out, given that there are plenty of fiction that shouldn’t be distributed ex: Birth of a Nation a movie that was made by racist white people stating how “Black men are evil creatures that will rape sweet innocent white women” hence why they need to be enslaved, beaten & killed. Or the amount of fiction homophobic religious people put saying “LGBT ppl are pedos” & create games where you can “burn the gays”. Use your brain when discussions of harm within media esp in your dark bl(or non bl) or people saying *insert a dark troupe esp in regards to race and culture * should not be on front/not be as popular/or still spreading harmful rhetoric IS NOT PRO CENSORSHIP or; if you can’t at the very least just be upfront and say you don’t care about any cultural, gender, sexual or racial harm within a media and just want to consume & enjoy dark manga/manhwa.
Side-note: 1) Freedom of speech =/= freedom of consequences 2) people do call out the amount of SA/DV/abuse etc within BL but it is either fallen on deaf ears or they are told to stop being antis and pro censorship
