I think one point you’re forgetting is that women (in most of these stories) don’t really have any rights to use to their advantage unless they’re in a very high position of power (like a crown princess in this story). Even if she was able to make a claim of abuse, I highly doubt anything good would happen. Her “family” could just make up stories about how she got those scars and call her crazy, possibly locking her up forever because she humiliated them.
And while she does have powers, they’re not for fighting. They prolong her lifespan, heal her, and poison won’t harm her.
As for the debt, I bet she will use it against the “family” eventually. She just has to wait for the right timing since she wants to be in a powerful position to fully utilize the authority to wipe the bastards off the map.
