Some comments are saying that the story was good at first but got bad because the twins have the minds of adults but act like children. Saying that yes they went through something traumatic but that doesn't change their lack of understanding.
First off, not everyone copes with trauma in similar ways. Age regression can help shield someone when they feel endangered. Dissociation can also do the same. There are MANY forms of coping and not everyone can use just any form.
Secondly, trauma affects people differently. Doesn’t matter who or what traumatized you, you’re experiences are different from everybody else’s. Experiences can be similar, but none will be carbon copies of another. All experiences and traumas are valid. So if someone invalidates your experiences, they are in the wrong and don’t try to downplay your stuff because other’s won’t listen.

someone rlly said that??? they were literally physically and emotionally abused everyday for 5 years and not to mention starved. Anyone would be traumatized and forget how to act too if they were treated like that
plus I think the reason why they act like this cuz they don't want to get caught, wouldn't be shocking for kids to be acting like adults they need to keep their image
Also don't forget they were also neglected in their previous lives there one subtle message they say when they talk about it so they probably have 23+ years of abuse/neglect
Adults??? Why are they saying that? Regardless of the trauma, in their flashbacks I thought I saw them wearing high school uniforms. How are they adults if they're between the ages of 14 to 18????(I know the original comment isn't saying this btw)
Arien said in the first chapter that she's 24 years old, it's because she died at 19 years old, so in her 5th birthday, she said she's 24 (means 19+5=24)
So many people think arjen and arien are full grown adult when they died in their previous life
But the thing is, this webtoon made by a korean author, korean age is one year older than your real age (it's just korean culture that age is counted even when the babies are still on wombs, newborn baby is already considered as 1 year old in korea), so arien and arjen originally died at 18, not 19, not to mention they obvously wore high school uniform, so they were still students/teenagers not adults
Most people totally missed and didn't pay attention to their school uniform at all, because they're too focused on what arien said (about she's being 24 years old)
That's what I was thinking!!! I knew I wasn't tripping when I saw the high school uniforms! The fact that people think they were grown adults goes to show that they're not even properly reading the story in the first place. And even if they were actually 24, the brain doesn't stop developing and growing until at least like 26. Even then some adults are still childish af. If they wanna be so technical they should think about that. Tbh I don't get why they're still here if they're pressed bc they're obviously not reading the story anyways. They are literally 5 rn, what's the big deal with these ppl?

Yess exactly! ╮(￣▽￣)╭ they were still teenagers, and i'm sure even if they were adults in their previous life, they're still kids in this current life, people tend to act not only based on their knowledge and experience but also their actual environment, these teenagers were reborn and live their life as baby to children for 5 years, they probably only remember their previous lives as fragments, they live a new life now
Yes korean babies start at 1 year old right after being born, that's exactly what i said above (i wonder if you didn't finish reading my comment, or it's just my broken english that confused you? (⊙…⊙ ) i originally don't speak english so that can happen), i also agree that people take too seriously when arien said she's 24, she lives two lives, one as 18 years old teenager girl, and one as 5 years old kid, she hasn't live as an adult, she never even go to work (since working environment is usually what makes people got experience as an actual adult), she was only a high school student
Yea, i was very disgusted by the comments under people’s rating of the comic. They obviously don’t understand different aspects of people lives and as others have responded, people also act the way they do depending on environment.
Good point! They got trauma over trauma! And age doesn’t match maturity, examples are some politicians I’ll leave unnamed
Another good point! An example of this is how you act at home vs how you act around your friends! Also age doesn’t match with maturity, though society likes to frame it that way! *Cough* adults who argue with teenagers on the internet*cough* And you are right! They most-likely are forgetting or forgot their past life since they are living a new one. A real world example of this is how when children grow up, a lot don’t remember their childhood for many different reasons!
