This story deals with IPV and starts off great. The author tries to do an m night shyalaman twist and fails spectacularly, because A. There’s not enough space for a proper resolution. B. ml acts totally out of character after said twist C. author cheapens the IPV storyline, characters and tries to f*cking justify the abuse. Straight trash.
Man this started out so strong with the mistaken- identity meetcute and the build up of their friendship and feelings. The concept of flowers being a central part of Sei’s character was fresh too. I was enjoying the slow burn but it just ended so abruptly, like the author stopped caring about the characters. They need a new editor because who okayed this? On a high note though— no SA, no dubcon, no noncon.
Get gr00ming allegations a lot especially if they knew the other lead in childhood but this one DEFINITELY IS. ML makes a proposal to an 8 year old and shows up 12 years later to collect on the promise of a kid (dumb because minors can’t consent properly to sex let alone marriage) and if he had stayed gone for those 12 years maybe he’d skate by. But come to find he used to do ‘big brother’ things with the child MC while thinking they’re engaged?? Hell naw.
I feel for the MC and I like him but the love story felt rushed and was more interested in portraying the the sordid sh** (SA more than once, domestic violence). I don’t mind the seedy stuff if it’s balanced out by the romance but in this case it was not.

No one said anything about dropping or continuing the story. Just pointing out there’s a lot of SA in this story. People have varied tolerances for triggering subjects and if it helps people prepare themselves before reading or avoiding it all together, then the comment served its purpose.
yeah man i get what you mean. thank you for giving us a trigger warning. i was just sad that @kuroxxi didn’t want to give this manhwa a chance T_T because it’s actually better than even some of the most popular bl manhwa. but like you said people have difference tolerance so i get why kuroxxi dropped it at chapter 11. can you recommend one or two bl manhwa with beautiful art, good plot, and no grape? thank you kai
what are you even trying to say...? i don't read jinx? i don't read any other ultra popular yaoi manhwa that's full of rape and assault? and similarly i'm not reading this manhwa either because its the same rape fantasy plot, just lesser known in popularity. i don't get what you're trying to say.

This one was decent, unrequited love, from childhood friends to f*** buddies to lovers in a framework of their creative pursuits as a cobbler and tailor. But chapter 4? A jealousy arc that turned into such a dumb plot twist just so these two would admit their feelings. It was like the author ran out of ideas so of course let’s throw in some sexual harassment and bodily harm. Just gonna ignore chapter 4 completely.
