    Well, MC eventually abandons his morals and accepts that he loves ML. And ML towards to the end's like "Love me or I'll kill you then kill myself"- MF literally proposes to MC while hiding a knife behind his back and will stab him if he says no, lol. After that more smut then babies arrive. So I guess you can say things work out for them.
