Basically nudging them together, nothing else if you ask me. He has eyes and is weirdly perceptive. He knows his son only has eyes for the ML but his pride is even greater as demonstrated so far, the only way to get him hitched( to the man he loves) is putting emphasis on the chairman position. Shitty father, yeah but he is still a father lol

I mean yuhyeon stormed out because he knows that his father understands how stakeholders will favour hyundo more if he gets pregnant with hyundo's child, YET this is the condition he's standing by? there's no way in hell a man that old and "perceptive" thinks getting binded to someone through a child is the best way to make them realise the scope of their feelings for them specially in this situation.

If anything this plans feels more like a *hindrance* to their relationship rather than a nudge to get them together, cus his father knows
a) Yuhyeon treasures the chairman position a lot
b) Hyeondo getting Yuhyeon pregnant will put Yuhyeon in a precarious position, where most likely he WON'T get the position.
now the genius plan he thinks of from these is that, i should now ask Yuhyeon to give me grandchild in order for him to secure the position, it's just stupid unless he wants this to be some sort of test for Yuhyeon? where he wants him to get pregnant with hyeondo's child, face all the discrimination as omega and still somehow win the favour of majority stakeholders?

Father's decision has been bothering me too, because he seems like decent father, but... What if he did this to protect his son? He doesn't want to his son to inherit the position as chairman because it's most dangerous position and the son has already suffered enough. Also... He just could be selfishly grandpa brained at this point and wants biological grandchildren, and lives in delusion that having children is happiness for omega (/woman).

You are right, that would be the case if you know MC was running a legitimate business. However, the stakeholders recognise strength which is why he is still revered even if its out of fear. Unless they all band together to completely oust him out if his position (which could even happen right now and with the father out of the picture that might as well be the case). Its a bullshit reason to not be with ML bcs the stakeholders will prefer him over MC bcs MC is literally the one running the entire show, and I think the father knows that. The chairman position is in the bag and MC has nothing to fear unless he falls short of what he has been doing so far. This isnt the first time a father has pulled this move in the manga/hwa/hua scene. And I absolutely detest it. This manhwa is one pithole after the other. I dont like this either if im to be completely honest.

Also isnt ML’s father a major partner, MC’s father very well be testing the both of them right now in order to see who is more suited for the position, either way I dont care for such crude mind games
