i do like them shortening this particular part of the arc tho, it took them around 6 chapters of just gameplay and game strat (and a few funny interactions between the party members) to get where we are now, we do get to know jigu's motivation after this tho
Respectfully disagree, I think a lot of scenes that were cut out could have provided way more context, I don’t know if I haven’t read the novel I might wouldn’t even understand what’s going on. The pacing is wayyyy too fast. Especially because some very cute and fun scenes were cut out that would have given sooo much life to the characters. For example when Yeowoon changes his cloak and everyone thinks hes hacked, even Jigu keeps texting him lol Tho it might be my personal bias because I was really looking forward to see the audition scene and it got cut out TvT
