2 the purity concept: so we know the mc used to date around and so good but whats with this concept that no matter the age or past relation of mc is they should always reserve a first for their top i cant understand this logic its same as expected women to be virgin while the men can have all the fun thwy need
3 derogatory terms used against the friend and all ok we get it he sleeps around and so hes a player but having to add the word slut in everyone line just overdo jt even the ml sleeps around no one called him slut as far as i read he was only called player
4 the 2nd couple so i didnt fully read there story and only remember bits and pieces theres ssomething wrong in it too i just fully explain
5 the friend knew about the ml but still supported mc to get along with him and when he got to know about cheatimg didnt say why cause mc is gonna do whats hes gonna do well atleast you could have told him its then mc wish to do what he wants
I knew I wasn’t crazy because I completely agree with you. I stopped reading it a long time ago because it was just so bad and I hated where the story was going with these characters.
I love the authors work don’t get me wrong but this storyline.. was just not my personal cup of tea. It doesn’t compare to the their first work with the storyline and character developments.

I was reading there other work back to school and i would say that was a pretty good story though even its side stories were a bit problematic for me like the dialogue but still manageable

So i didnt read this yet but have a gist of it due to comments and it reminded me of jaxx's new manhwa song of the wasteland which is infact discontinued due to slavery implications and racisim
I dont support racisim nor anyone should be but what i feel wrong here is people will not blink an eye on the rape and amount of sexual abuse/ assault done in bl manhwas by authors which have 100+ chapters but will point out the racist part of it
If jaxx manhwa cant be discontinued cause people are complaining why cant every other read complain about the rape part or just stop reading there stories so authors can stop adding it as a plot alliment in name of dark romance.
Its true there will be still stories of rape and all but its the reading community who incourages these type of story.
Still this doesnt mean we should go bully and write hate comments to author due to there work one can say things without cursing or threathing someone
do you really think people don't? rape has been something so normalized in bl since the beginning of it's time and if you say a word about it you would be harassed constantly because of how many people like it. there are plenty of people who condemn it but you don't notice it bc of how much it's hate is overshadowed by people who romanticize it.
I think there is a strong gray area for all this. 1. A reason women have such a strong writing link to rape is cause women are raped a lot. And a lot of women develop a fetish from non-con. Not saying they love being raped, but in a controlled environment to gain back control. I talk from both experience and from studies. 2. Stright women don't know how gay/ bi men can fall in love with eachother naturally so rape is an easy way to make the romance happen faster. 3. These webcomics don't usually have an editor or people that study literature. They draw and have a story to tell. They go off of what is popular and what they personally like.
I personally have a bigger problem with media that involves underage characters with older ones. Proshipping is a far more normalized thing that i believe is far more problematic then rape. I think you are completely wrong in saying people overlook the rape in manga, that's literally what all manga topics are on this site now. Frankly i find it redundant since this is a free site that isn't supporting the authors at all. Like find a more creative topic or critique.
