I don't know they'll end up together or not but when they met years later why was he blushing when looking at a 12 year old. Just think yourself in real life if a 18-19 is interested in 12 yrs old wouldn't that be problematic. Whatever time period is but the author is of today's world they should have kept that in mind. ( And I know one more Japanese manga which got adapted in the anime THE MC IS IN 30s or something and the girl is an elf but she is 15 years old and she tells him to marry him. If you've read romance manga or anything you'll recognize the pattern that most of the time FL IS UNDER 18 AND ML IS IN 20s and I can give you more examples with FL being 15 and ML is their late 20s or 30.)
