I think you are kinda misreading Hirano's character. Him being asexual is quite an obvious theme here. And as for Hanazawa we don't have as much detail but it seems like it leans for towards learnt homophobia than being into Hirano...

I have to disagree with you about Hanazawa. He was shown in Sasaki to Miyano's manga as more understanding and accepting than in this manga which is logical since the story her is somehow the prequel. I feel he will understand that he is gay and that's why his older brother said he decided to come out in front of the whole family just to help encourage him to do as well, and of course I could be wrong.
For Hirano you may be right, only IF, he is asexual which everyone here seems so sure about with no proof.

I think its ironic you say people are assuming he’s asexual w no proof when in the end, its not about a verbal statement but how he is portrayed.

Along with like wym “to encourage him as well” like there was no suggesting how you came to the idea that he might be gay just bc he’s accepting (maybe cus of the brother too?) and there’s no “proof” IF he is gay.

At best, i mightve agreed if u were talking abt a relation w the last roomate (lawyer guy) but hirano like..the only mood i can gather between them is hirano being relatively careful around him

I don't think it's ironic at all, You are allowed to have an opinion and that opinion could be different than mine, and so do I. That would not change the fact that both "Hirano being asexual" and "Hanazawa being gay and into Hirano" are both with no proof, and I certainly didn't say it was a fact. I was simply making assumptions like the rest of you.
Also, I don't understand why did you bring the roommate to this when I was only talking about Hanazawa being into Hirano and didn't mean they like each other.

I brought up the roommate bc he objectively seemed to have the closer rs with hanazawa. Can you explain what you mean by didn’t mean they like each other? What else would “hanazawa being into hirano” possibly mean otherwise

"I feel that Hanazawa likes Hirano but Hirano doesn't like him in the romantic way", is what I meant. And for the roommate I don't see any special interactions between him and Hanazaw that's why I was surprised when you mentioned him. Hirano and the senpai "ex roommate" have amicable relationship I might say, but nothing romantic as well. On the other hand Hanazawa showed more interest, especially recently, towards Hirano, in my opinion.
Like if you notice in chapter 26 page 7 Hanazaw was shocked Hirano cared for him, and right next page Hirano talked about Kagiura and you can feel Hanazawa's pain or disappointment. I know this could be reach but like a whole panel with no words to show his loneliness!!
Then there is chapter 27 page 8 where you could see Hanazawa leaning on Hirano and acting all cute around him and Kagi getting jealous, cause the two were all alone in the laundry room. He even reminded himself that Hanazawa is homophobic, as a guy said previously, right in the next two pages. Honestly there are many other clues as to how Hanazawa might be into hirano but those two moments and this last chapter are more indicating. But of course it's all my observation and I could be completely wrong.
