I would love for this to get turned into an anime one day. Also, this story is just so well done and the characters are interesting. The setting is removed from reality enough to where it doesn’t feel too real while having elements in the story that make it feel worldly enough. I really appreciate the themes that this story is willing to touch on considering all the things that have come out about the Epstein files. Despite how dark the story can be, there are enough moments of levity and happiness to where it doesn’t feel like the story is a slog to read because it’s so miserable at times. Also another moral of the story, we need to leave women and children alone for real for real.
This story is so beautiful! This is an essential BL read! And it’s pretty accurate to the times and cultures that the mangaka is portraying

I can’t remember exactly when, I think it was 2021-2022? (I was going through multiple mental health crises so my memory is a bit foggy). I was on FB heavily and I was in BL fan groups and the like and, I don’t know if you remember, but it was around the time a bunch of these BL authors were getting really pissed at people for pirating, which is fair like it’s whatever, but this particular author doxxed a young black girl (she def shouldn’t have been reading this kinda stuff but what can we do? It’s not our job to take care of children on the internet) but I still think it’s crazy that so many older white women read BL illegally as well and she still decided to target the little black girl
