Reading the comments it looks like a lot of people dont know how to read between the lines...
Shuraka has said/shown over and over how devoted to Tei he is. Also, at this point, if yall don't trust BWAT to give us 2 green flags husbands, you've just not read enough of their work. Coz their characters are always devoted to each other. In every universe!
The way I see it:
1. Tei is looking insecure in their relationship coz it's super new, they don't know each other anymore and don't know how to communicate with each other. He is also all alone in a new kingdom with no-one to confide in/talk through his insecurities with. My man needs a bestie who can tell him to chill and trust his man and TALK TO HIM about things hes assuming!
2. Shuraka may be the ruler of his kingdom but hes a 22 (?) Yo virgin with a 10+ yrs old crush on his fiancé. He's likely not used to not know what to do/how to behave, and Tei doesn't make it easy to read him coz that man is a wall!
3. Shuraka was distraught when Tei accidentally made himself bleed their last time together. Poor thing was beside himself with worry. it's obvious he'd go to "experts" on pleasuring men (the concubines in the harem) to discuss his issues. My guess is he spoke to the male concubine about the theory of same-sex relationships. (Also thinking that male concubine is a sly fox who might be jealous)
He doesn't have a cheating bone in his body!
4. Shuraka's reaction in the last panels is him being scared of being feared by his beloved. Hes associating the words of his past with Tei's actions and thinks Tei is refusing him because hes scared of being hurt physically like what happened last time.
Long story short, we need a bestie to come between them, knock their heads together and tell them to sit their idiot-asses down and talk! Urgh, MEN!
