I also avoid men, not that i have a phobia but i refuse to be close to them, and if someone came close to me disguising as a girl to touch me and kiss me knowing i hate contact with men, i think id have trust issues for life, that’s disgusting i dont know why you guys downplay the stuff he did

That doesn't make the ml any better. I just find her mom had a great hand in making her daughter insecure + I hat,e men a lot I'm a mis,andr,ist and you can easily change my mind, I talked like that bcs it was a webtoon now imagining it irl I would sh00t him in the haed.

I like ml better because although he was a bit of a scum at the start he never hid or lied like that (except after he got blackmailed which isnt completely his fault) and he changed for the better, he never used her trauma against her, he stepped back whenever there was a problem and took care of her openly and secretly even when he didn’t have feelings yet (took the blame for a cash register mistake, which could get u fired instantly)

They didnt touch on his story much but he seems also starved of affection which is probably why he never settled and played around

Honestly when i first read it i think i liked yul better too bc i wasnt avoiding men at the time, but after a few years passed i realized damn thats terrifying

And yeah her mom is definitely at fault but it wasnt that bad at first where she’d start having panic attacks, it was only after what yul did in middle school (or high school idk) it got worse, she opened her heart to a guy for once and he was obsessive and manipulative like her mom
