You can feel Renato's conflict. He wants Mimi to be safe, but he knows that confining her and keeping her in a 'cage' of safety will stifle her spirit and kill her soul. He loves her for who she is and she wouldn't be her if she wasn't running into danger to help others. On the other hand, as Queen, she does need to be aware of her position and the impact her choices have on others. It's a hard spot to be in. I completely disagree with the king about confining her before the wedding and how he's going about things. I hope Renato chooses a different path and sticks up for Mimi.

I am in love with the true reality threaded into their supernatural story. Like, yes we are reading about a shifter and an arch demon, but Vidura comes in with a shock of reality by admitting that if they do live together, not all of their conversations are going to be super interesting and entertaining haha

I dislike people/characters that have no regard for what other people want, think they know better about what is best for others, and only care about reaching their own goals. This stalker is all of these wrapped into a single character and he absolutely sucks. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ shut him down hard
Feels like a better title for this one would be "The Duke wants to practice making an Heir"
