I think what a lot of people need to understand is that yes, we can understand and sympathize with Mok’s background as how his childhood was did shape him and his way of thinking, but that doesn’t mean what he did was morally correct. In my opinion I can get why Mok is the way he is, especially if we think about nature vs nurture, mainly leaning on the nurture considering his background with moving to a foster after being abandoned by his biological parents, and then his environment with his foster parents was also unstable with his foster father being unfaithful which lead to him being back into a foster home and later on meeting his biological parents again and all of that, so he never really had a proper parental figure in his family and his moral compass is skewed. I mean you can only learn so much from peers and teachers but when your home life is fucked upc who’s really paying attention to anyone besides yourself? He sleeps around and takes Sunhwa’s partners and has no sense of stable identity which further fuels instability in relationships. Nanjo has every right to be angry and he doesn’t owe Mok anything, not even the time of day to see him. He was coerced, raped and played with. Do you really think that he won’t be upset? Even if he learns about Mok’s past…what does that have to do with him? He was still deeply hurt in the end and betrayed. It’s interesting to read though how Mok’s actions come to bite him in his ass. The story also subtly raises the question: Can people really change and do you believe that everyone can change (for the better)? I’m looking forward to seeing how Mok will change and how that change will alter Nanjo’s opinion of him. I do think this story would’ve been better if it’s not about the redemption between them and rather the growth of Mok and truly accepting what he did was wrong (not because Nanjo hates him now) and that he works on himself through therapy, education and awareness of his actions. Personally I do believe that everyone can change once they’re willing, but I do not believe that they should end up with someone who they’ve hurt to this extent after changing, I see it more as a thing where you move on and continue living but as a better person with a sincere apology and never appearing in front of them again, but then again this is a fictional story so obviously this isn’t gonna happen

Omg guys he does not have cancer. He probably goes to the hospital to refill his sleeping meds and the thing with him being sick, if i remember correctly he rarely gets sick that’s why he’s like it’ll go away…why would he have cancer? it’ll be a stupid plot point if the author suddenly includes that

I can’t believe that we’ve already come to an end

I cried! I loved it! There is a season 3…right? I need them to be happy. I think the most painful thing was Ki-Joong having all 5 of the plush keychains he bought on his bag and Ji-min in return having that one keychain that reminded him of Ki-Joong throughout the three years. I especially loved that they didn’t leave on bad terms and waited for each other, yearned for three years. The more I think about them the more I cry

Can someone please tell me if this manhwa has rape/SA? Specifically if the MC or ML gets raped/SA’d

    JJJ April 17, 2026 4:53 am

I hope I'm not too late, but yes the MC gets raped and saed from the 'antagonist' of the story, multiple times.

MC was SAed several times by the third party, but I don't remember a rape part, there was no penetration at least what I remember from the novel, when was that exactly?

    WhiteGravvy April 17, 2026 5:04 pm

He never gets raped. Just a finger up the butt. So far at least.

That’s actually in the definition of rape. And so yeah, MC gets SA multiple times

That’s actually in the definition of rape. And so yeah, MC gets SA multiple times Koanda

in general, definition of rape is forced sexual penetration (where now I remember MC was fingered once by that asshole, but no sex itself) and sexual assault is not equal rape, sexual assault is a combination of any sexual abuses, any form of sexual contact without a consent (kissing, touching, penetration, and so on), and rape is one of form of sexual abuses, but true, MC went through a lot because of that monster!

Yes, just remembered that, it was early on, this is why probably my brain repressed it as a traumatic one, but yes, at least they monster didn't go all the way with MC

OH WAIT SORRY! I wanted to answer to the person who said there was no rape but just a finger! I must have missclicked >.<

Now I understand why you’re telling me about the definition of SA x)

But yeah, by definition, a finger in there is rape. It would have been a tongue or an object it would have been too :/

Oh, okay, now it makes sense! No worries I saw many people incorrectly perceive sexual assault forms even in fiction, what I find important, even later in real life, as later may not even know that what happened to them is wrong, where it is

And yes, any type of penetration, no matter what kind of 'tool' is used - it's rape, and unfortunately there was that damn fingering I forgot about

Looking forward to seeing how the plot thickens and fleshes out. Juheon’s past still remains a mystery…

I wonder what his reaction will be like hearing about Gitae and Dohu’s past together. Also wonder what Gitae is trying to pull. I feel like soon enough his “resolve” will crack and something between him and Dohu will be revealed or like a big conflict might happen. I could be wrong tho
