idk why everyone's upset about this being part 1. there's a shit ton of manga series with with a chapter count between 200 and 500. vinland saga has 224 chapters. haikyuu has 407. golden kamuy 314, demon slayer 207, my hero academia 431, jjk 272, tokyo revengers 279. there's clearly a ton more that has to explored, why would they just end it here? lol
if the author had developed these into independent short stories they would've been great. there's a lot of stuff here that's worth exploring more but it's just brushed upon in the one shots. the realization of jealousy on both parts in the first one, the internalized homophobia/trying to conform to heteronormativity in the second one, the underlying hatred in the third one. i would've loved to read about these feelings if they were more explored.

crazy how everybody in the comments is hating on kyouchi and talking like imagase is an innocent pitiful victim. did you guys forget that their relationship started because imagase BLACKMAILED kyouchi?? they had sexual intercourse only because imagase blackmailed him into it. that's coercion. it's sexual assault.
also i've seen a few comments referring to kyouchi as the seme, which is kinda crazy cause there's a pretty big focus on them switching during their relationship. if anything, kyouchi has bottomed more than he's topped, and even then it wouldn't be 100% correct to call him an uke. they're switches. if you want to refer to him and you don't remember his name you can just say "the mc" or "the black haired guy". you don't need to fit every character into a specific sexual role like it's their whole identity, especially when they don't fit the role you're assigning them. let switches be switches, damn.
