10 years ago I asked this guy out thinking i had a crush on him (hes acc gay as fuck omg) but it turns out that i was just pretending to like him because he was very popular and everyone around me were having crushes. I did some cringy stuff to get his attention and people were cheering for us like “congratulations you 2” i feel so bad for him it was so humiliating for both of us and i was totally the asshole. I didn’t give a shit when he rejected me though.

All of the crushes I had (I realized years after) were actually crushes I pretended to have because I liked the idea of being in love with someone (I literally picked one from the crowd that seemed handsome enough lol), but deep down I always feared the day my crush would return my feelings because I didn't actually want a relationship. So obviously I never confessed. Then I came out as aroace :D
