I'm seeing a lot of comments how the ending was rushed but I had to disagree. This is my opinion and I am not hating on others thoughts about this as they are free to voice out their opinions as well and I respect that.

(I'll be talking Alisa and Aisha as different people to make it easier to understand which family's which).

For me though, I disagree because 'Alisa's' family were also victims. They were brainwashed. They say Alisa on Mari because of the dark magic, making their perspectives switch sides thus the hatred towards Alisa and the cause of her death. It was a calculated plan from Mari and Alisa was just to kind and naive to see it. She's a literal angel, you can see that from the scene when she described not wanting the ending to be that way and had hopes to have some reconciliation with her family instead of them having those painful aftereffects. You can also see the family snapping out of it at times and at the end and regretting all of it. They really didn't mean to although their actions were not justifiable as that's how they see Mari.

Mari also only wanted to have that connection, that family affection which she saw that Alisa had. Her greed was a perfect opportunity for Selena to take and she did. Mind you guys, Mari was only just a child at that time when she took the devil's hands and children are easily persuaded especially when the given opportunity arises in front of them. She was that desperate due to her own trauma but again, that also does not justify her behavior towards Alisha and the reason for killing her.

So for me, the ending was a perfect in showing the meaning behind the story. This story was literally all about kindness, forgiveness, and love—literally Alisa's (now known as Aisha) whole being. She a saintess), an angel and she knows how to utilize it well to everyone's benefits. That's her whole moral conduct, being good. Even the way her brother apologized and forgave the empress and when she knew her childhood best friend's motive behind his actions was in all relations to this story's theme too. Love. Familial Love, Platonic Love, Romantic Love, every forms of love. That's how it was and it was perfectly portrayed throughout the whole story.

An absolute peak way to show it too was the rainbow and the dove portraying what the empress previously said about the meaning behind both their names and that one scene where Isis told Aisha about the meaning behind it and told her it was from his mom to which I thought he was talking about his own mother but actually refered to the empress. I just thought that was so cute and super sweet with the teaser and then the reveal of his acceptance to having another mother.

Ok so I came back after finishing this.

It had a solid start. It was good, the build up was exciting but then the love interest—especially both princes—just turned downhill and the mutual pinning between Pisco and Lynette was cute but turned frustrating with how they both push each other away even if it's for a good reason although It could've been fixed with better communication.

Lynette on the other hand was too set on with the revenge that even I pity Argo for he was not the Argo from the previous life yet she keeps treating him badly. He's actually trying to be better and he really was showing good development but his trauma just keeps holding him back. If he was treated much better and more honestly, I believe he would have become such a great man to which was shown at the end when he found a new love.

The same goes for the crowned prince. Both of them we're obsessed with her that Pisco was honestly the only sane man there second to the grandfather. The rest was just... Anyways, the ending did redeem it. It was nice, and I'm glad to see everyone got their happy ending they all deserve (except for the wicked witch).

Lynette was honestly the problem and was the reason the love interest, specifically the prince all acted that way. It was clear they were not compatible but it was also a bit weird with how Lynette suddenly grew affections towards Pisco and vice versa. One grew a crush and did their biddings just cause, the other started having feelings after he subtly confessed? Yeah uhmm...

But yeah, it was ok. A lot of things and subjects that was needed to discuss or can be further elaborated just almost seemed to get thrown away like the friend of Lynette. It could have added more details and flare to the story instead of only focusing on revenge. The love story was cute though, I'll admit.
