Do u think Chase changed after Joshua? Yes he might have changed for both Joshua and his children but he is still as shitty for everyone else, chase had no character development and was still a bad and mad person for other people
Whereas Grayson starts to make friends, starts to understand other people, apologised to people he hurt and he does all of them voluntarily without anyone forcing him. That's called a character growth and development.
