Why not just wait to upload chapters and put any additional info at the end. I don’t understand the “placeholders” “hiatus” “upload date change” “new translator” updates. Just save it for the final or first panels of the chapter or the comments, it’s extraa (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
placeholders are there bc bots take unofficial (oftentimes with shitty translations) chapters from other websites
notices like hiatus or upload date change are uploaded bc it means there's been a change with the next update date. Usually there is no chapter when there's a notice. Saving notices for when new chapters are uploaded can confuse people so it's best to upload them when the officials do.
new translator are mainly for unofficial translations. It's so the readers can know. Sometimes there's a dip in quality while reading or the translations get better but it's important to know. Bc without a decent translation, the story can get lost and the reader is turned away from that story.

The only one I can understand is placeholders. Everything else can go on the last panel of the CH, it’s unimportant and unnecessary. What confuses people is a new update notification for a manga and they’re expecting a chapter but it’s not a CH… it’s just a new translator update (& MOST OF US DONT GAF). Majority of users on this website, don’t care TOO much for quality but if it’s that bad then most will just save it and wait for officials or another translator. No need to let us know it’s a new translator by using a slot for a CHAPTER, just upload the new chapter and I’m sure we’ll be able to see for ourselves it’s a new translator or just put that information on the last panel. I’m only saying it’s extra cause all of these updates are one panel and I bet 90% of users don’t bother to click on the chapters if they know it’s not apart of the story…
It’s quite annoying when the seme is a POS and straight up tells the uke he’s NOT interested but uke still plays desperate or nice. Then rinse and repeat till enough angst has gone around. These stories are all the same, it’s getting old (╯°Д °)╯
