I know the story is the author's and if I don't like it I can just leave it, but I hate that Jaekyung's character has to be so unnecessarily and overly cruel. There's absolutely no reason why a person should be so merciless to someone who doesn't deserve it at all, it just doesn't make any sense! The problem is that it's romanticized cause it's not supposed to be a psychological thriller or smth. I understand that this author plays all on character development in order to make an impactful redemption afterwards (as it was for Bj Alex), but such obnoxious characters just make everything unpleasant...
