Just an advice to new readers that this is not a light read. It's full of angst but— MC's are not stupid. It's just complicated since the ML is hella complex. But that's what makes his character unique and I love him for that. No cheating involved, he's just manipulative. ik it's wrong but he takes responsibility for that. Plus, he genuinely love our FL. And when we say he's obssesed, he's really OBSSESED ( ꈍᴗꈍ) (iykyk) Damien will do everything for fl. Chloe is wise and selfless. I love them sm.
For those readers who finds the ML insufferable and the FL dumb, y'all should go for a manhwa with green flags ML—there's a lot of existing manhwa like that.
I love the uniqueness of this manhwa so I came back after almost 2 years of marinating it when I stop at the chasing arc. Rereading this now, it still feels like how I felt back then (excitement)
Give it a shot if you're into angst, chasing trope, no cheating, no regression, smart fl, and mentally unstable ML(▰˘◡˘▰)
